Seven could be magic number as depos bill awaits Brown's signature

Plaintiffs' and defense lawyers are waiting to see if Gov. Jerry Brown will sign a bill limiting depositions to seven hours in certain cases. The bill's supporters say it will reduce abusive practices by some litigators.
