Firms seeing uptick in labor and employment work

Full service firms and boutiques have seen an increase in activity over the past year.

Some full-service law firms downsized their labor and employment practices during and immediately after the recession as the market drove down rates for the practice and firms swam toward higher-margin work.


But many firms, full service and boutiques alike, say that work is booming again, and they're staffing up or working longer hours to take advantage of it.
