Google denies paying commentators in Oracle case

Google Inc. again denied it paid journalists or bloggers to provide commentary about its high-profile infringement trial against Oracle Corp., even as the company provided a list of people who weighed in on the case in a Friday filing.

Google Inc. sought Friday to dismiss allegations by rival Oracle Corp. that it used an "extensive network of influencers" to shape perceptions of its infringement trial, even as it provided a list of people with connections to the company who commented on it.
