Acquittal for Pharmaceutical GC a Relief

Attorneys breathed a collective sigh of relief when former GlaxoSmithKline lawyer Lauren Stevens was acquitted of six charges, including obstruction of justice, but other lawyers still could be indicted in similar federal cases.

After Reid H. Weingarten won an acquittal for a former associate general counsel at GlaxoSmithKline on criminal charges related to an investigation into off-label drug marketing, his inbox was flooded with congratulatory e-mails.
