WASHINGTON - In the wake of last month's pro-business arbitration decision by the U.S. Supreme Court, Democratic lawmakers introduced legislation Tuesday to ban mandatory arbitration clauses in business and employment contracts.
The bill would invalidate all agreements requiring employment, consumer and civil rights disputes to be resolved through private arbitration.
