Wage Claims Put in Workers' Hands

Labor Department mobile app could help workers track hours and wages, bring claims against employers.

A new smartphone application launched by the U.S. Department of Labor this week could give workers a leg up in pursuing wage-and-hour claims against their employers.


Available for download for the iPhone and iPod Touch in English and Spanish, the app is a virtual timesheet that lets employees keep track of their hours, breaks and wages and email the records to themselves.
