Public's Fear of Cloning Echoes Cries Against New Technology
The clone age has arrived. Last week at a conference held by the prestigious National Academy of Sciences, Italian researcher Serverino Antinori and Kentucky-based infertility expert Panos Zavos announced their plans to clone a human being by year's end. The pair claimed that they will work with 200 couples who are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to procreate in this novel fashion.
