Basic Benefit

In Rich v. Southern California IBEW-NECA Pension Plan, 73 Cal.App.4th 419, (2nd Dist. 1999), the court held that, if an alternate payee dies while receiving monthly annuity payments under a qualified domestic relations order, the pension plan must increase the participant's monthly payments by the same amount the plan had been paying to the alternate payee.
