Ninth Circuit Revives Invasion-of-Privacy Claim
In a decision curtailing undercover journalistic techniques, a federal appeals court on Tuesday reinstated an invasion of privacy claim against a Japanese TV company that secretly taped an "ambush" interview with a medical director whose firm was accused of shipping AIDS-tainted blood to Japan.
