Time has come to de-unify the State Bar of California
The de-unification plan should focus on the Supreme Court's oversight of the State Bar's public protection mission, while simultaneously supporting the gradual unwinding of the sections from the bar. By William N. Hebert

William N. Hebert served on the State Bar Board of Governors (now Board of Trustees) from 2007-2011, and served as State Bar president for the 2010-2011 term. As State Bar president, he chaired the first Governance in the Public Interest Task Force.
