Often, when business is conducted among multiple parties, someone requests that evidence of insurance be provided. This is a quite common request in real estate, motion picture-production, construction and other business transactions. In some cases, one party simply needs to know that the other party has insurance. In other cases, one party needs to be added to the coverage afforded by another party's insurance policies.
