Defender Tries To Strike Deal For Transcripts

Saying it has never encountered a protective order as restrictive as the one imposed on the Rafael Perez transcripts, the alternate public defender's office said Monday it is trying to hammer out with prosecutors a less severe order under which it will agree to take possession of the transcripts.
