Class Action Takes on Cable 'Bundling'

A veteran antitrust attorney could transform the cable industry with a federal class action that strikes at the very way it does business. The suit charges that the industry runs a "cartel" by offering consumers only prepackaged tiers of bundled channels, rather than allowing consumers to choose and pay for the channels they want, known as "a la carte" channel choice.
