A student at the University of La Verne College of Law lost her bid Wednesday to prevent the school from suspending her for cheating.


Katrina Yu fought her punishment all the way to the 2nd District Court of Appeal, which rejected the argument that she was disciplined solely for exercising her free speech rights. Yu v. University of La Verne, 2011 DJDAR 8785.
