Citing Ineffective Counsel, Judge Grants Rare New Trial

LOS ANGELES - The day before his client went to trial on federal felony charges, an Alhambra lawyer received some bad news: The State Bar Court said he should be suspended for five years for taking money from clients and not doing any work.
