Decades Later, Black Radicals Return to Court

The case of eight former black-power activists accused of killing a San Francisco police officer in 1971 is headed back to court today, with defense attorneys demanding to see the “new evidence” that led state prosecutors to file murder charges in February. In the discovery battle over DNA and fingerprint evidence, prosecutors say they've disclosed what the law requires.
