New ethics guidelines set to go into effect next month governing California arbitrators have drawn fire both from leading dispute resolution firms as well as consumer attorneys who say they do not go nearly far enough.


Under the new rules, all state arbitrators will have to disclose whether they were disciplined by a professional agency or licensing board within the previous 10 years.
