State Bar still may owe attorney fees in demographic data lawsuit

SAN FRANCISCO - Plaintiffs' lawyers could still nab $1.2 million in attorney fees in their lawsuit that accuses the State Bar of unfairly withholding demographic data on bar applicants.


Superior Court Judge Marla J. Miller of San Francisco decided Tuesday to reconsider denying those fees, which she initially said were premature because the lawyers' success was only on phase one of the trial. ...
