In a rare decision on traffic matters, the state Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that automatic photo systems used at red lights provide sufficient evidence to show a defendant broke the law.
It is the first decision by the state's highest court on red light cameras, and it is the first decision on a traffic case since 1979, attorneys say. People v. Goldsmith, DJ DAR 7139.
