Court says officers' identities can be divulged in officer-involved shootings
In a 6-1 decision, the state Supreme Court found that, typically, the names of police officers involved in on-duty shootings should be released by police departments under the state's public records act.

The state Supreme Court on Thursday rejected a blanket rule preventing disclosure to the public of the names of law enforcement officers involved in on-duty shootings.
