Movie Sweepstakes Promotions Require Careful Legal Planning

Mulcahy - As the summer draws to a close, moviegoers have a chance to catch their breath while the motion picture studios prepare to release their next wave of big budget films. The marketing campaigns have already begun: Trailers are playing in theaters; commercials are beginning to air on television; and Web sites offering information and merchandise are up and running. It is only a matter of time before the sweepstakes begin.
