Vallejo Gets to Drop More Union Deals on Path to Solvency

The City of Vallejo has cleared two major hurdles on its road back to solvency, disposing of collective bargaining agreements with two unions.

The City of Vallejo has cleared two major hurdles on its road back to solvency, disposing of collective bargaining agreements with two unions. The city settled with its firefighters' union, and a bankruptcy judge forcibly rejected its collective bargaining agreement with its electrical workers at the city's request.
