ABA Files Suit Against FTC Over Red Flags Rule

The American Bar Association showed the Federal Trade Commission that it means business Thursday, as it filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that seeks to bar the FTC from regulating lawyers under the Red Flags Rule, designed to prevent identity theft.

The American Bar Association showed the Federal Trade Commission that it means business Thursday, as it filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that seeks to bar the FTC from regulating lawyers under the Red Flags Rule, designed to prevent identity theft.
