Gender Gap In Legal Pay the Widest of Any Profession

New statistics surfaced last month charting the gender pay gap in the U.S. workforce, and, on first glance, women's earnings in the legal field are jaw-dropping: the median woman's salary is 57 percent of a man's. That's the widest gap of any profession tracked by the U.S. Labor Department.
