State Lawyers Face Pay Cut

Some 3,400 attorneys, hearing officers and administrative law judges who work for the state government could see their take-home pay slashed by 10 percent under the proposed budget.

Some 3,400 attorneys, hearing officers and administrative law judges who work for the state government could see their take-home pay slashed 10 percent under the budget proposal laid out this week by Gov. Jerry Brown.


The move is expected to save $308 million.
