U.S. Owes $2.5M in Wiretapping Case

SAN FRANCISCO - A federal judge on Tuesday ordered the government to pay $2.5 million in attorney fees in a case in which the surveillance of a designated terrorist organization led to a landmark ruling that the warrantless wiretapping program undertaken by then-President George W. Bush was unconstitutional.
