City's Tax District Law Tossed

A judge Friday threw out a Santa Rosa ordinance requiring developers to agree to have their projects annexed into special tax districts in order to get approval.

A judge Friday threw out a Santa Rosa ordinance requiring developers to agree to have their projects annexed into special tax districts to earn city approval.


Sonoma County Superior Court Judge Mark Tansil ruled that the city's Ordinance 3902 deprived residents of their right to vote on such an issue.
