Man sentenced for storing hazardous waste in yard

A Southern California man convicted of storing toxic and hazardous waste in his backyard was sentenced to five years in federal prison Tuesday.

A Southern California man convicted of storing toxic and hazardous waste in his backyard was sentenced to five years in federal prison Tuesday. The sentence, handed down by Los Angeles District Court Judge George King, is the longest ever given for such a violation, according to the federal Environmental Protection Agency.
