SAN FRANCISCO - For the second time in two weeks, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that foreign plaintiffs have standing to sue in the U.S. over alleged civil rights abuses abroad.
The nut of Wednesday's opinion was that U.S. courts can exercise personal jurisdiction over foreign companies with subsidiaries here.
