Pharmacists sue Pfizer over Lipitor generics

The plaintiffs claim Pfizer and other companies entered into an illicit agreement that delayed the generic version of cholesterol drug Lipitor from the U.S. market.

SAN FRANCISCO - Eleven California pharmacists sued pharmaceutical giant Pfizer Inc., India-based Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. and several other companies Monday claiming they illicitly entered into an agreement that delayed the generic version of cholesterol drug Lipitor from the U.S. market.
