Tax case hinges on U.S. justices defining fraud

In a case involving the owners of an L.A. area restaurant chain, the U.S. Supreme Court heard argument Monday on whether the Southern California couple can be deported for filing a false tax return.

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Supreme Court heard argument Monday on whether a Southern California couple can be deported for filing a false tax return in a case pitting immigration enforcement against the policing of tax laws.
