High court considers idea theft case

The Supreme Court is expected to decide as early as today whether to review the case of a would-be TV producer who sued Pilgrim Films & Television Inc. for allegedly stealing his idea and creating the reality show "Ghost Hunters."

A recurring theme for Hollywood's legal community - the idea-theft lawsuit - could reach the U.S. Supreme Court. If the justices agree to review the petition, it could stave off a potential onslaught of similar claims against Hollywood studios, particularly in the reality television genre.
