Homebuilder and developer RSI Communities announced it purchased 228 acres in Beaumont, Calif., to develop a 981-unit master planned community.
The community, called Olivewood, is set to break ground in 2017, with homes available for sale in early 2018.
The project will feature 12 floor plans, ranging in price from the high $200,000s to high $300,000s.
