AT&T Customers Win Appeal

MacLean Nevada Journal Staff Writer SAN FRANCISCO - A federal appeals court handed a landmark arbitration victory to 7 million California consumers Tuesday, declaring AT&T's customer contracts to be "unconscionable" because they mandate secret arbitration, bar class actions and limit AT&T's potential damages for willful misconduct.
