Job Furloughs Foreseen as Courts Submit Budget Plans

SAN FRANCISCO - A worst-case budget scenario would require San Francisco Superior Court to lock up early every other Friday, close filing windows over the lunch hour and force some employees to take unpaid time off, according to documents to be filed today with the state agency that controls the court's purse strings.
