Toshiba hit with $87 million verdict in price-fixing case

A jury today found that electronics manufacturer Toshiba Corp. participated in a scheme to fix the price of LCD panels, and awarded $87 million in damages to plaintiffs.

SAN FRANCISCO - Capping off a rare civil price-fixing trial, a jury on Tuesday found that electronics manufacturer Toshiba Corp. participated in a scheme to fix the price of LCD panels, and awarded $87 million in damages to the plaintiffs.
