Lianghui Shows China Is Moving Toward Parliamentary System

The annual conference, held in five-year cycles corresponding to the term of the NPC, appears willing to hold the government accountable, writes James Wong of Chinney Capital.

While the close of the Lianghui in Beijing a few weeks ago did not contain any surprises, it showed that China was inching closer to a parliamentary governmental system that sought accountability from its executives.
