The Church Only Speaks Repentance

The scandal involving sexual crimes continues, but the Catholic Church can't quite nail down the concept of repentance, writes Ira Shafiroff of Southwestern Law School.

In the continuing scandal involving sexual crimes by Roman Catholic priests, many church officials have used the word, "repentance." Yet, astoundingly, it seems that these authorities have no grasp of the concept.
