A 'Real Problem’ for Gonzales?

The former Justice Department official who oversaw the firing of San Diego U.S. Attorney Carol Lam denied before Congress Thursday that she was dismissed for zealously pursuing a major corruption case. But Democratic senators, including California's Dianne Feinstein, remain unconvinced that the Bush administration did not have an ulterior motive for firing Lam and seven of her colleagues.
