Close Call on Whether High Court Will Strike Its Antitrust Rule
WASHINGTON - In a case that could bring significant changes to the retail industry, members of the U.S. Supreme Court expressed two very different views Monday about a Southern California company's bid to overturn a century-old antitrust precedent that made it illegal for a manufacturer to prohibit retailers from selling the company's product at a discount.
