The amount of cash raised by venture capital funds, a leading indicator for future investment in high-tech and biotechnology companies, hit the lowest level in almost seven years in the second quarter of 2010.
That does not bode well for technology companies trying to raise capital in coming months or for the attorneys who advise them.
