Price-fixing cases throughout the state got a boost from the California Supreme Court on Monday, which unanimously rejected a defense recognized in other parts of the country.
Retailers may sue for antitrust violations even if they passed on allegedly inflated prices to their customers, the high court ruled in Clayworth v. Pfizer Inc., 2010 DJDAR 10765.
