Many incumbent judges will face election challenges in June

At least 15 judges have drawn election challenges for the June primary. Meanwhile, 27 candidates signed up to vie for 14 open seats on the Los Angeles Superior Court.

At least 15 incumbent judges across California face election challenges in the June primary, including five on the San Diego County Superior Court, two on Riverside's and two in the Bay Area.


In Los Angeles, only Judge James B. Pierce drew an opponent, Deputy District Attorney Carol A. Najera.
