9th Circuit denies petition for appeal in high-tech employee poaching case

The suit alleging major Silicon Valley conspired not to poach each other's employees is slated to go to trial in May.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals late Tuesday denied a petition for permission to appeal class certification in an antitrust case against several Silicon Valley companies.


Judge Lucy H. Koh certified the class of technology workers in October, and lawyers for Google Inc., Adobe Systems Inc., Apple Inc. and Intel Corp. sought review from the 9th Circuit in November.
