Arbitration award stands even though panel member represented firm

Bryan Cave LLP did not have to disclose its relationship with an arbitrator who served on a panel that awarded the law firm more than $2 million, a state appellate court found.

Bryan Cave LLP did not have to disclose its relationship with an arbitrator who served on a panel that awarded the law firm more than $2 million, a state appellate court found.


Because David P. Parker was part of a three-person arbitration panel, neither he nor Bryan Cave was obligated to disclose that Parker was concurrently representing the firm in a separate matter, the court found.
