Wells Sued In Second Overdraft Case

A new class action against Wells Fargo & Co. seeks to piggyback on an earlier case in which plaintiffs won $203 million in restitution of overdraft fees related to the bank's policy of processing transactions from highest to lowest.

SAN FRANCISCO - After winning a $203 million judgment against Wells Fargo & Co. in a class action challenging the bank's policy of processing debit card transactions in order from highest dollar amount to lowest, plaintiffs' attorneys are at it again - this time on behalf of California customers who were not included in the original class.
