Heirs to Superman Co-Creator Own Rights

The move paves the way for the daughter of co-creator Jerome Siegel to appeal for a larger stake in the superhero franchise.

Ending delays in a long-running case over who owns the rights to Superman, a judge officially handed the daughter of the superhero character's co-creator a stake in the franchise.


The judgment comes three years after a now-retired federal judge first ruled - without issuing a final order - that co-creator Jerome Siegel's daughter recaptured partial ownership of the superhero.
