Deere Sued for Sex Discrimination

Deere & Co. has been hit with a potential class action on behalf of a woman who alleges the company didn't hire her for a landscaping customer service position because she is a woman.

SAN FRANCISCO - After representing herself in a stand-alone sex discrimination suit against John Deere, a Modesto woman scored big Wednesday when some well-known plaintiffs' attorneys joined her case, putting the force of a potential nationwide class behind her.
