Former Partner Falsified IRS Document

Former McGuire Woods LLP partner Michelle R. Walker pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to neglecting tax payments of more than $110,000 and falsifying an Internal Revenue Service document.

LOS ANGELES - Former McGuire Woods LLP partner Michelle R. Walker pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to neglecting tax payments of more than $110,000 from 2006 to 2008, and falsifying an Internal Revenue Service document.


In February 2010, the IRS served a levy on McGuire Woods to recover the attorney's unpaid taxes by collecting her monthly distribution directly from the firm.
