Brown signs bill capping depos at seven hours

Under a measure signed into law Monday by Gov. Jerry Brown, depositions in most cases will be limited to less than seven hours. Exceptions apply in complex or employment law cases.

Gov. Jerry Brown on Monday signed a measure limiting the length of depositions to no more than to seven hours in most civil cases pending in state court.
